Time Card and Alternative Editing Sheets
Time Card
The Time Card page displays employees' schedules, punches, and hours for a particular day. Additional information, such as the employee's schedule exceptions, workgroups the employee worked in, and the daily authorization status, are also displayed if configured (Figure 1).
Worksheet
Worksheets are used for tracking projects and tasks. Employees can enter the number of hours worked per workgroup, based on their assigned project or by the tasks they perform (Figure 3).
Note: For Worksheets, the employee enters the total number of hours.
Time Sheet
Employees use the timesheet to track their own time by entering time for everything, including in and out times for lunch (Figure 4).
Note: For Time Sheets, the employee specifies the start and end work times (similar to the task sheet).
Task Sheet
The employee uses the task sheet to enter their start and end times. The primary difference between task sheets, worksheets and time sheets is that employees who use task sheets may choose the workgroups in which they perform tasks (Figure 5).
Allocation Sheet
Allocation sheets are similar to worksheets because the employee is able to track time worked on a project or task. The difference between allocation sheets and worksheets is employees who use allocation sheets punch in and out. These employees typically allocate their hours in specified work groups (Figure 6).
