This document addresses work instructions for how to change preferences on a bio template for the IT3100 and IDpunch 7 with finger reader using MSS3 (Core).

Changing the Verify Threshold on Finger Reader Clocks

Both the IT3100 and the IDpunch 7 with Finger Reader have a threshold that can be selected to adjust the sensitivity applied for each individual employee.  Use the following instructions to change an employee’s threshold.

  1. Verify the employee has been enrolled in the clock.

  2. From tmsConneXion, select tmsTime from the quick menu (Figure 1).

  3. From the employee’s time card, click on Time Card and select Personal Information (Figure 2).

  4. From the Basic button, select Templates (Figure 3).

  5. Click on the Finger I/V Template (Figure 4).

  6. Verify Threshold, click the drop-down arrow select None, Accept Any Finger  (or the appropriate setting for your employee )(Figure 5).
